Yesterday (March 20th) optimistic/interested Organisations all around the world celebrated the "INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HAPPINESS" to commemorate a special "HAPPINESS" resolution (66/281) that was adopted by a consensus of all 193 member states of the United Nations on the 28th of June,2012 but how happy was the world really,on International Day of Happiness?

This question can be answered if people can really identify what happiness means to them. For the World Health Organisation and many of us, Happiness means a complete state of wellbeing i.e. physical, social which includes financial and psychological/mental wellbeing. A lot of individuals/families in the world today may not enjoy the above listed prerequisites to the fullest or even half of what is supposed to be but the idea is to find a reason to be happy, no matter your circumstance. There are actually countries that enjoy a very healthy dose of happiness as stated in the WORLD HAPPINESS REPORT 2017. If members of families in war torn Syria or Sudan can smile or dying patients receiving hospice care, then why not you. There's too much going on around the world already and there is no gain saying our dear planet earth can use a double dose of happiness,so I have gone to the official website of the "International Happiness Day" to make my solemn pledge "TO CREATE MORE HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD". You can make your pledge too and we can all take action by starting from our homes and immediate neighbours. A happy world can make a healthy world and we are proud to support this special day. A lot is being done by the United Nations to make the world a happier place and the "17 Sustainable Development Goals" is a good start.
